General Information

Unless specific terms are made on a provided printing quotation, all orders will be subject to the details set forth.

Barefoot Graphics is not to be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen media and hardware (CD's, artwork originals, paintings, slides, tradeshow hardware) provided by the customer for job purposes. We make every effort to provide these items back to the customer upon job completion, ideally in their original state.

The turnaround to provide a printing quotation for a customer is intended to be within 24-48 hours. The customer is responsible for notifying us the date the quotation is needed by at the time of the request.

All jobs by customers without 30-day payment terms will require full credit card authorization or pre-authorization prior to beginning the order.

Files should ideally be submitted both as their native files (packaged and compressed) along with a High-Quality or Press-Quality PDF(s) with the appropriate crop marks and .125" bleeds. Acceptable applications for PC include (but are not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite products (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Programs that are not considered to be professional layout programs by the printing industry (including but not limited to Publisher, Word, Powerpoint, Excel) are not preferred and will likely result in production straight from the print-ready PDFs.  Customer supplied PDFs are run through Pitstop, a professional plugin that preflights files for errors. We will make every attempt to fix any errors that are found.  When errors are found, proofs may have to be re-approved by the customer. The customer acknowledges that this may result in a delayed turnaround. Please see our FAQs page for detailed file preparation.

Quotations, Order Placement and Customer Supplied Files

Quotations are based on materials and operating procedures in accordance with printing-industry standards. A comparable substitute may be used if quoted material is unavailable. Material substitution or shipping charges may apply. Shipping requests must be made prior to quote approval. Turnaround is based on business days and commences upon artwork approval by ALL of the following: The Customer, Barefoot Graphics, and Third Party approval if applicable. Turnarounds are not guaranteed.

You certify that the files and artwork you submit may be printed by Barefoot Graphics without creating any liability for intellectual property infringement or other similar rights. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Barefoot Graphics from and against any and all liability, claims, causes of actions, damages, costs and expenses, including but not limited to, attorneys fees and costs of suit, arising out of your breach of the Terms of Service as set out on our website, www.BarefootGraphics.com, including claims for primary or secondary forms of trademark, copyright and/or patent infringement under the laws of the United States or other countries where the cause for such liability originates with the use of our printing services.

You acknowledge that you are making no false representations of who you are and represent. Companies and organizations (with 30-day payment terms) are responsible for jobs placed by "rogue" employees or interns with corporate email addresses  that do not have authorization of the company or organization to do so.

Barefoot Graphics is not responsible for abiding by purchase orders and terms of agreement that are not supplied to us at the time of order placement.  Customers will be charged Maryland state sales tax (6%) unless they are out-of-state and the order is being shipped out-of-state or a tax-exempt certificate or notification is provided at the time of order placement. We will not refund the paid sales tax to a customer who claims to be exempt from sales tax if the necessary tax documentation is not provided at the time the order is placed.

Customer Supplied Hardcopies & Proofing

All customers are encouraged to supply a color hardcopy/mockup of their job at the time of estimating and/or ordering.

Proofs may be required of the customer, despite the customer "waiving" the right to view a proof. It is our intent to provide a proof to the customer within 24 hours of estimate approval, provided we have been given all files and information needed to do so.  Proof turnaround is not guaranteed. Proofs coming from third-party vendors make take several days

Color Proof Accuracy

Unless a color hard proof is requested at the time of estimating and purchased at the time of ordering, such a proof will not be supplied. The customer is responsible for providing us with the specific Pantone colors (from either Pantone Solid Coated or Pantone Solid Uncoated) by which their order is to be defined. We do not guarantee 100% color accuracy/matching on any job.

Right of Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse service or products to any person or organization, before or after an order has been placed. We refuse to print anything deemed by our staff to be obscene, pornographic, propaganda, racist. Do not submit files or emails that are questionable and could possibly make our staff uncomfortable (i.e. sexual harassment). We reserve the right to terminate communication with individuals that do not act, behave or communicate in a professional and timely manner.

Estimated Turnaround

Turnaround times are based off an estimated production schedule, provided that all criteria is met. Turnarounds are an estimate and are not guaranteed. Customers will not be refunded for a missed turnaround. We will make every attempt to meet the turnaround schedule of our customers. Customers are subject to a rush charge for jobs that greatly deviate from the estimated turnaround as a result of delayed customer approval, a new and sooner turnaround date, or a job that requires overtime production. This rush charge will be within reason and discussed with the customer prior to the customer incurring the charge.
